Ferris on parade Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) is determined to have a day off from school in this classic 1986 comedy. Joining him are his best friend, Cameron (Alan Ruck), and his girlfriend, Sloane (Mia Sara). But Ferris's freedom proves to be a headache for his sister, Jeanie (Jennifer Grey), and principal Ed Rooney (Jeffery Jones)--both whom try (and fail) to catch Ferris in the act. A real parade, the Von Steuben Day Parade, was used for the parade scene in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". The following Saturday 10,000 people showed up to see Ferris and the gang do it again. |
